Clearance: The majority of positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Liaison Systems Engineer on our team you will apply Systems Engineering principles to support a product through requirements management, thread coordination and sprint product analysis. The candidate shall support the build and maintenance of end-to-end system integration test plans, manage Confluence and Jira artifacts, maintain the continuity of roadmaps and artifacts, and support the customer with the building and maintenance of briefs to Capability and Mission stakeholders.

 

This position will apply systems engineering to develop and document requirements for both customers (COCOMs and National Production organization) and partners (labs and development organizations). The candidate will create engineering artifacts, identify gaps in the design and present them to the customer for disposition. In addition, the individual will become familiar with the current and future architectures of the systems and prepare documentation for leadership use.

 

In addition, there is a need for Communications and Outreach skills for tactical users as well as the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) environment. Periodic briefings and reports may be required for customer / community interactions.

Qualifications

 

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

Ability to work well with the project leads, technical directors, and developers to coordinate efforts for system integration and data ingest
Experience working with mission product owners and other various customers to capture mission requirements and derive functional requirements
Coordinate completion of thread requirements across multiple teams
Monitor and document risks and dependencies
