Responsibilities

The Human Resources Director (HRD) will be the senior leader responsible for leading the people team in support of the overall business and strategic direction of the organization. S/he will leverage their deep understanding of competitive market trends as well as a mastery of People programs, systems, and analytics to support the executive leadership team’s growth objectives for the organization. 

The HRD will play a key role in defining and maintaining the EverWatch organizational culture and act as an agent of change during transformation and rapid growth.

 

Business Leadership:

Works with clients and key stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and business opportunities; identifies related issues, risks, and stakeholders, and develops integrated approaches using one or more organizational strategy, transformation and change components. 

  • Identifies, applies, and aligns transformation and change models relevant to the organization and issues to be addressed; differentiates stakeholder groups and levels to influence change.
  • Implements organizational strategy, transformation, and change solutions to solve client problems.
  • Institutionalizes solutions by deploying change management tactics throughout the organization to ensure adoption of the change.

Human Resources:

Leads strategic planning process, development of HR talent strategies and executes day to day human resource functions in alignment with organization business objectives.

  • Assists in identifying and analysing the HR needs of designated business entities.
  • Consults with business unit management during the strategic planning process and defines human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs.
  • Drives human resources initiatives within the organization and the holistic integration of human resources functions when necessary.
  • Provides tactical human resources support to the line managers of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Partner with business leaders, internal HR representatives, analytics team, and other key stakeholders to assess opportunities, create Diversity Equity and Inclusion strategies and plans, and support execution through coaching, consulting and thought partnership

 

Compensation: 

Provides direction and support to the organization regarding compensation surveys, analysis, budget, plans and implementation.

  • Oversees salary surveys and competitive market analysis and executes salary planning and equity implementation across the organization.
  • Analyses reports and audits the organization's compensation programs to ensure consistent compliance with the organization's policies and government regulations.
  • Partners with management regarding policy and compensation interpretation as well as in the annual salary planning process.

 

Benefits:

Provides supervision for implementation and administration of benefits programs and policies, and other activities associated with the organization's employee benefits and associated compliance of government regulations.

  • Ensures alignment of competitive benefits programs and policies based on business strategy
  • Responsible for compliance of related federal and state rules and regulations, e.g., Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Partners with PEO and appointed vendors for outsourced benefits programs to ensure employees' issues are prioritized and questions are properly resolved.

Champion the awareness and commitment of our employees to ethics and compliance

  • Implement and initiate parent company ethics and compliance policies and reporting policies where appropriate.
  • Leverage data, reporting and analytics to effectively monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and firm codes and policies, mitigate risk, and support the firm’s strategic initiatives

Provide guidance to employees and leadership on established policies, procedures, programs, trends, and risks. Triage, serve as subject matter expert for, and resolve escalated business inquiries

 

 

 

Qualifications

Additional Considerations and Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of directly related experience. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • SPHR Certification is a plus
  • An established professional reputation along with strong market relationships.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A hands-on leader, willing to roll-up her/his sleeves to get the job done.
  • Expertise in the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, interviewing, reference checking, making offers,etc.
  • A bias for action and an orientation towards solving, rather than simply identifying, problem areas.
  • Ability to build and motivate high-impact teams.
  • Personal ambition to play a major role in the growth and success of the company.
  • Ability to set high ethical standards for personal integrity, honesty, teamwork, and public accountability to motivate the entire team to the highest levels of commitment and personal effort.
  • Demonstrated mutual respect for leadership, peers, and direct reports.
